Very good value!! Well appoint accommodation, quiet, hospitality nuns (they don't speak much English, but both sides got by) and convenient located. We were immersed in beautiful surrounds and serene environment. Tres Bien!
Good value accommodation - not fancy but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again as the kloster is close to the village where there is a good choice of eating places. The nuns are lovely. Would recommend
We were a bit shocked by the cost of guesthouses and hotels in the area so made a choice to stay in a convent hotel for the first time. No regrets. This place is not only good value price-wise but close to the main road with easy access to Baden-Baden. Food was a pleasant surprise as was the ambience
The town of Bühl is situated in idyllic green countryside from where there are magnificent views over the Black Forest. Manicured green meadows, orchards, vineyards and placid lakes complete the landscape. In winter the Bühl-Bühlertal holiday region, is blanketed in snow and lovers of snow sports can take advantage of kilometres of slopes, most serviced by a ski lift. There are several Unesco world heritage sites nearby. The closest heritage site is the Grande île, in Strasbourg, France. While in Germany the closest site is the Monastic Island of Reichenau, a distance of or 63 km, north-west.
The monastery guesthouse is situated in the middle of a vast park. It is an oasis of calm and only a short walk from the town centre. This property offers excellent value for money for a stopover or for an extended stay.
